The Partner Who Understands What You Built

I partner with established business owners in Quebec to acquire, strengthen, and grow their companies — preserving the people, the relationships, and the legacy you spent decades building.

Not a PE firm

Every deal is built around what makes sense for your business and your people — not a standardized playbook.

Not a faceless buyer

I become a trusted partner. Often a friend.

Not extractive

Deals are structured so you keep benefiting from the growth you helped create.

Locally rooted

Quebec's SMBs are the backbone of this economy. Keeping them local is the whole point.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I grew up understanding that a business is, above all, a story of people. Systems exist to serve people — not the other way around. When people are treated well and work inside functional systems, they thrive. And so does the business.

My dear friend and mentor, an accomplished business man that started out from nothing, taught me what it means to lead a business with integrity. Toward the end of his career, we were working to ensure what he had built would endure beyond him. His sudden passing changed everything — the transition was never completed, and I witnessed his life's work come undone. That unfinished chapter has shaped everything I believe about legacy, relationships, and the people at the heart of a business.

My first acquisition attempt taught me something else: a handshake agreement means nothing if the deal isn't structured fairly for both sides. I've watched businesses close, employees lose their jobs, and communities lose economic anchors. That's what I'm trying to prevent — one deal at a time.

How I Work

1

Diagnosis first

Understand what's working, what's broken, what's draining resources — financial or human. I look at technology gaps, workflow inefficiencies, communication bottlenecks, and accounting blind spots. Without judgment.

2

Low-hanging fruit second

Fix the biggest blockers before attempting transformation. Quick wins build trust and momentum.

3

People-centered planning

Every operational change is evaluated against its impact on the people doing the work. A relaxed, trusted team in functional systems outperforms a ground-down one every time.

4

Structured execution

I don't move without Plans A, B, and C. Transitions are managed thoughtfully.

5

Shared upside

Owners stay involved, collect ongoing royalties, or transition out cleanly — while still seeing the business grow.

What This Looks Like in Practice

You Keep Benefiting

Unlike typical acquisitions, I structure deals around what the owner actually needs — not a template. There's no one-size-fits-all. Some owners want a clean exit. Others want to stay involved. Most want to know the business, the people, and the relationships they built will be in good hands.

Clean Transition

Step back from day-to-day operations while the business continues to thrive. The team is protected. The legacy continues.

Ongoing Royalties

Stay invested in the business's growth through structured seller financing or royalty arrangements. You built it — you should benefit from where it goes.

Continued Partnership

Remain involved in a capacity that fits your goals. Operational advisor, board member, or simply a trusted voice when it matters.

The growth is shared. That's the whole point.

Is This You?

You've built something substantial. You've worked hard. And now you're facing a crossroads — whether that's succession planning, a desire to modernize, retirement, or simply wanting your legacy to continue rather than disappear.

No pitch decks. No obligations. Just a conversation about where your business is, where you'd like it to go, and whether there's a way I can help make that happen.
